The Knights of Columbus Council 586 is located in Cumberland, Maryland accross from the

Council Meetings occur on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m.

Cumberland Council 586 was founded July 14, 1901 and began with 56 canidates. The first meetings of the Cumberland Council were held in Carroll Hall at Saint Patricks Church. On May 30, 1914 the efforts to acquire a permanent home reached fullfillment when the home on North Mechanic Street, occupied by the Cumberland Council until 1972, was dedicated.
